Masters's 10K results
This race was the club's first appearance on the national scene in
years. The men's team finished in 19th place thanks to great
performances by Ethan Crain (89th place), Jesse Darley (93), Deon
Barrett (120), Mark Reeder (150), John Blouin (155), Ben Nephew (161),
and Jim Pawlicki (177). The women's team also put in great runs by
Livvy Williams (74th place) and Tracey Timmins (84), but did not have
enough members to appear in the official team standings.
Coach Tom Derderian even ran in the master's race.
It was a hot and humid day, but the excitement was so high after
the race that the
club vowed to send an even stronger team to the next national
championship in Los Angeles, certain to be another hot and humid
location for a race.
The club and the club membership contributed donations to help defray
some of the team's travel expenses, and here coach Tom Derderian

before the championship meet. (Photo by Jim O'Brien.)
Standing left to right, team members are Tracey Timmins (229), Deon
Barrett (96), Jim Pawlicki, Jesse Darley (99), Ben Nephew (100), Mark Reeder (102),
John Blouin, Livvy Williams (230), and Ethan Crain (98).

the club at the end of the summer and immediately took her place as
one of the top runners on the women's team.

Livvy Williams (230) has been one of the club's strongest runners, and
she did a great job at this national contest. (Photo by Tom Derderian.)

Another GBTC job well done.
Thanks, team.
