Lowell, MA 5K September 10, 2000
The men's team finished 5th in the team competition.
Arnold Seto led the team with an 18th place finish.
Rod Hemingway finished strong to nab 26th place.
Arnold and Rod (4th from left) were in the lead pack at the one mile mark.
John Blouin just missed a sub-16 performance with a 16:02, good for 50th place.
Miler Rich Voliva moved up in distance and ran well.
Mr. Reliable, Jim Pawlicki, had another good race.
Greg MacGowan managed to hold off a member of the BAA juggernaut.
Noah Kraut and Chris Coxen hung on to run under 18 minutes.
Doug Burdi made the trip at the last minute and ran a respectable 18:32 (5:59 pace).
Sprinters Dave Cahill and Dave Callum got in some over-distance work.
Mike Olivo and Jason Pollutro.
Michelle Lang finished 5th for the women's team, helping them to a 7th place finish.
Masters phenom Alda Cossi led the women's master's team to a 5th place finish.
Judy Romvos and Cynthia Hastings were only 5 seconds apart at the end.
