2019 GBTC Invitational On-Time Payment


Entry and Payment Deadline –
TUESDAY January 15th 11:59pm

Entry into the 2019 GBTC Invitational consists of TWO STEPS to be accepted.

BOTH steps must be completed on or before January 15th for on-time registration. There will be NO POST ENTRIES.  Once individual entries are made on directathletics, online payment is expected and due by the entry deadline; entries will not be accepted if payment is not completed by the deadline.

    Event registration is now open
    . Use the meet registration site (updated 12/03/18) at DirectAthletics to enter individuals and teams into meet events by the registration deadline. If you have never used DirectAthletics before, you will have to create an account on their web site.
  2. Event payment:
    On-Time entry requires on-time payment for entry acceptance.
    SCROLL DOWN for the payment buttons to pay on-time entry fees via PayPal by the registration entry deadline.
    Entry fees are nonrefundable (they are entry fees and not participation fees), and we will not refund entry fees in the case of inclement weather, meet cancellation, scratches, duplicate event entry, duplicate payment or over-payment, or non-appearance by the athlete.
    TEAMS that can not pay online must notify us in advance via email at gbtcinvite@gmail.com, and must make checks payable to Greater Boston Track Club for the team entry (this is for TEAMS only).

Reminder to all athletes:
Your event payment, online registration, and bib pick up does NOT mean you are declared into your event. ALL ATHLETES MUST DECLARE into their respective events according to the published meet check-in rules or otherwise risk being scratched from the event.

  • On-Time registration will be open in December.
  • On-Time Entry: Entered on DirectAthletics by Tuesday, January 15, 11:59 p.m.
  • On-Time Entry Fee paid by Tuesday, January 15, 11:59 p.m.: (payment buttons below)
    • Individual Events: $20 for EACH Event Entry (regardless of event scratch or participation) 
      • There is no event limit per person, but payment must be made for EACH EVENT entered.
    • Teams: $360 maximum cost per team gender, with men and women separate.
    • Relays are FREE, if at least two members are in open events, otherwise relay entry is $40.

Note: If paying for someone else, or for more than one athlete, you must enter those name(s) and event(s) (separated by commas) in the text box below for reconciliation of payments, then choose appropriate quantity based on number of entered events after clicking “buy now”. Remember entry is $20 per event, for each person.

If you are entering a relay team, the team is only free if it has a MINIMUM of TWO members of the relay entered in open events. Teams comprised of less than two open event relay members must pay $40 (see pay button below for payment).
All relay teams must be registered via DirectAthletics using a team account, all relay members must represent the same team and be listed on one TEAM roster in Direct Athletics.
