Pak Pilgrimage to New Zealand

Mission accomplished! Pak stands upright, downunder with Pfitzinger.

I sent Junyong Pak on a mission (not at club expense) to deliver a GBTC racing shirt to an old-time accomplished GBTC runner who now lives there.
Peter Pfitzinger represented the United States in the Los Angeles Olympics (11th) and the 1988 Seoul Olympics (14th). Pfitzinger wrote "Advanced Marathoning" a very useful book.
He ran for GBTC in the early 1980s and lived in Boston and Wellesley. He was one of my regular training partners in those days. Pak will be racing with the club teams in Lexington, Kentucky on Saturday.
