Sweltering, hilly, Newburyport 10 miler

With sweaty hair flapping, Matt Haringa ran down the Moulton brothers in the last miles to take a splendid 5th place. He said he felt good. Hot off the Utica Boilermaker 15 km and prepared for racing long in the heat, he led the team to an official 2nd place.

Christy Bonstelle ran an equally luminous race in the lip-sucking heat and humidity. This race is a New England Classic with nearly the entire town turning out to party and cheer along the streets. Racing runners could hear the celebrations and smell the beer as they passed.
