Great Club running in the Great Stew Chase 15km

David Bedoya and Kibrom Temelso lead the way with Kevin Somers following in his silly hat.
Photo thanks to race director Roger Perham

In very good weather on a moderately hilly course our GBTC runners dominated the Great Stew Chase sweeping the top three places.
The club women took half of the top ten places with 2, 4, 5, 6,& 7.
Many of these men and women will compose the club's teams in the Boston Marathon.
The next major road race for the club will be the Amherst Sugarloaf 10 miler on February 24th. That race, founded by me in 1975, saw Bill Rodgers win and go on to his first victory in Boston two months later.
