Tonight the Greater Boston Track Club president, Bruce Davie, congratulated Amanda Parrish as he presented her with the 2008 Margaret Bradley Award on the campus of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology on the banks of the Charles River on the night before the women's USA Olympic marathon trials. The award is given yearly by the club to a young woman in memory of GBTC member Margaret Bradley who died in 2004. The award covers expenses to the Boston Marathon.
Both Margaret Bradley's parents, Keith and Mary Jo Bradley, and Steve and Diane Parrish attended the reception along with 50 club members and their guest. Donations were made to the endowment that funds the awards. Donations can be made at anytime on the club web site.

In the Boston Marathon Amanda Parrish will wear number 9982 and the uniform of the Universal Sole club from Chicago.
