UConn Spring Outdoor Invite 4/21/07

April 21, 2007 - Storrs, CT - Sherita Williams takes top honors once again in the hop, skip, and jump by almost 2 feet with her current 2007 outdoor season best, a triple jump A-standard US National Qualifier, 13.20m (43-3.75), extending her repeat victories over UConn's Tamara Highsmith. Although Sherita already qualified with her best indoor marks, two times over the qualifying outdoor standard (13.26 at BU Valentine and 13.22 at USATF-NEs), she is making steady progress this spring while staying healthy, building strength and reworking her form. Ray Smith joined her in jumping, he in the long jump.
