GBTC men lead New England Grand Prix

The Greater Boston Track Club men's road racing team today moved into first place in the New England Road Race Grand Prix. A stellar second place finish by Avi Kramer took the team to second place in today's race and up to first in the year's GP point total. The Boston Athletic Association team that had led the scoring in the first grand prix placed only 7th today. The new GSC Triad racing team composed of members from Massachusetts and various towns in New Hampshire won today's race but had placed only 6th in the first GP. In the current scoring GBTC has 43 points to Triad's 40 and BAA's 39. The GBTC women's team today led by Laura Hayden remains in third place in the NE Grand Prix.

The third Grand Prix race of the year is the 5 km in Westford, MA on May 6th.
