Our workouts

GBTC provides a number of structured and unstructured training opportunities for our members. Once to twice a week, structured training sessions are provide by Coaches Tom Derderian, David Callum, Rod Hemingway and Bruce Bond. Workouts are tailored for the needs of specific training groups (sprinters, road racers, marathoners etc.) and follow a season plan around the team’s competitive goals. In the summer, these workouts are normally at either Danehy Park in Cambridge (near Alewife) or the South Boston track on William J. Day Blvd. (near JFK/Umass T stop). In winter most of our track workouts are held at the Reggie Lewis track in Roxbury Crossing (club members are eligible for discounted season passes to the track).
