USATF National and New England Championships

Although GBTC still sets its sights on the BU Last Chance meet this weekend, and the masters look ahead to their Nationals in mid-March, we closed out February on top!

In Albuquerque, New Mexico there were some serious monster throws from some of the best in the world including a USATF National meet record in the men’s shot put. ¬†Among the competitors our own Nate Hunter seeded 14th heading into the national shot put event moved up three spots to finish 11th with his 60ft 1in heave a mere quarter of an inch off his season best, while in the weight throw Lisa Wilson made her way into the finals to finish 8th overall!

Locally, at our scored New England association championship, GBTC men continued the winning tradition scooping up 42 points to top NBB by 18points.
