Winning, Men, Wayland XC

GBTC men won the third USATF-NE Grand Prix cross-country race putting them in the lead for the series.  Brian McNamara led the team with Jonathan Charlesworth in second and Caleb Evanter running his best XC of the season in fourth.

Aly Millett led the women’s team to third place in the team’s successful attempt to stay in first place for the GP series. Megan Bisceglia, Brandeis grad, ran second with UK import Medena Knespl running third. Next race in the series is the Mayor’s Cup on Oct 27, then the New England Championships on Nov 10 and on to the Club Nationals in December in Bend, Oregon.

A top club women’s team is set to compete in tomorrow’s Club National women’s 10 km at the Tufts 10 km.
