Front Runner Wins

Before the Cape Ann 25 km road race I told GBTC runners Kibrom Temelso and Nate Freese to go to the front and run because it is the most risky place to be and the most fun. They did. With bloody feet Kibrom finished first with Nate running the longest race of his life hanging on for fourth place. Club President Bruce Davie won the master’s division and all of our men finished in the top 20 out of 574 finishers on this warm, dry summer day.
Placing six men in the top 20 won the team prize and a check for $100. Kibrom got $200 for the win.
